Now that the site is moved to a separate CVS module, it is no longer part of the downloadable distributions.
Before 1.0 we need to:
- upgrade the ant script in site so it can create a tgz and a zip of the docs
- make sure damagecontrol runs the target that uploads these to the dist folder
- update the downloads.html page to point to the site archives.
Activity
Is there anywhere some internal docu for Confluence? I read on Atlassian's HP of its features and that you can export the contents to XML, but I did not found how. Another way seems the xmlrpc interface, allthough I don't grok this yet. Had to have a deeper look ...
So what about a Maven-Confluence plugin converting the export to Maven standard docs? In combination with the totally reworked pdf-plugin of Maven this would be really nice.

is there any chance to get a tar ball of the new site or should we try to use wget for a documentation in the distro? We also have to consider, that at some point we also have the docs for Ruby, PHP and dotnet online.

Jörg TeleportPro to the rescue. A little bit of manual, but Aslak is writing a ruby script to smooth a little of it.

This is still valid for Confluence docs. We should generate static docs from Confluence and include them in the distro.
